Dream Squirrel
Dream Squirrel is a music group whose sound blends Experimental Indie and Shoegaze genres. I was commissioned to develop a visual identity that would capture the band’s layered and genre-defying sound.
Inspired by the band’s diverse setlist and lyrical themes, I created a series of multi-layered collages used across the vinyl cover and accompanying tour posters. The front and back covers feature carefully constructed imagery that mirrors the complexity and experimental nature of their music. Visual elements were selected to reflect key words and emotional tones found in the lyrics, translating the band’s sound into a cohesive visual narrative.
This project established a distinctive and memorable identity for Dream Squirrel, offering them a visual language to carry forward. It also deepened my understanding of creative processes within the music industry, including how sound and narrative can inform brand development and visual storytelling.
