This editorial series is a visual extension of the dance film Rooted, focusing on movement, costume, and storytelling through photography. I wanted to capture the emotion and energy of the dancers blending dance, fashion, and narrative to create images that feel alive and instinctive through motion. The fabric-heavy set design represents the excess and overproduction of clothing we don’t notice in everyday life, showing how overwhelming and tangled our relationship with consumption has become.
