SOFTPAW Editorial - Notion Magazine

Inspired by ’90s sportswear and boxing advertising, SOFTPAW reimagines this visual language through knitwear.
Moving away from rigid, performance driven representations of strength, the project embraces softness, individuality and authenticity.
The name SOFTPAW comes from southpaw, the boxing term for a left handed fighter with an unconventional stance who disrupts expectations. SOFTPAW carries this same attitude. Rather than fighting harder, it questions what strength can look like when expressed differently.
By placing knitwear, often associated with femininity and softness, within the visual world of boxing, the project challenges the idea that strength has a fixed appearance. Instead, strength becomes personal. It is about expressing it on your own terms, through your own body and your own style.
